INOX 18cm Italian Tourist Venice Gondola switchblade knife made in Italy in the 1970s as souvenirs for tourists. These knives are commonly referred to as "card knives" due to the fact that they were often sold to tourists off of display cards that held 4 or more knives. The knife measures 17.6cm (6 15/16 inches) open and 3 7/8 inches closed with steel liners, bolsters, button & safety. The flat grind clip swedge blade is 98% full or better with factory finish and is stamped INOX on the ricasso (tang). The handles are hollow steel with wraps featuring a bridge on the back side and a gondola on the front and are in excellent condition. The knife works well with the blade tip below the liners closed, strong snap and very good lockup with about 1/16" up and down at the tip. No rattle if shaken with blade open except the button. Nice little Venice Italy tourist switchblade. Safety works. EX- condition.
