INOX 18cm Italian Stiletto Sparrow Wing Wasp Body Vintage automatic BOBC knife

Vintage 18cm Italian BOBC (Button open, button close) wasp body stiletto with horn scales (handles) often referred to as a Sparrow Wing due to the shape of the finger guards resembling bird wings. This knife was made in Italy, most likely during the 1960s or 70s and measures 17.7cm (9.96 inches) open and 3 7/8 inches closed with D stamped Steel liners & bolsters with nickel silver plated button & nickel silver safety cap. The flat grind light swedge blade is nearly full (about 98%) with original factory finish and the ricasso  is stamped INOX. The genuine buffalo horn scales (handles) are in nice condition and are mostly black with some brown streaking and lots of light scratches and handling marks. The knife works great with the blade tip below liners closed, strong snap and excellent lockup when open with about 1/8" up and down at the tip that springs back when you let go. Does not rattle if shaken when open. Nice vintage Italian BOBC switchblade knife. Safety works. EX condition.
