Faux Pearl crossguard toothpick made by the Imperial Knife Co of Providence,RI in the 1950s. The knife measures 4.25 inches closed and nearly 7 5/8 inches open with steel liners & is stamped Imperial PROV USA on the front and PAT NOS over two patent numbers on the back ending in 37 and 82. This is the less common version with finger guards. The blade is 96% full and shiny with some light scratches. The scales are hollow steel wrapped in cracked ice (faux pearl) celluloid and are in very good condition with just a bit of shrinkage.  The knife works well with blade tip sitting below the liners when closed, opens strong and locks open with a little movement each way. Barely rattles if shaken when open with approx 1/8 inch up and down and slight side to side. Safety works. VG+ condition.
