IMPERIAL Toothpick Cracked Ice Vintage switchblade knife JM90PBC NOS
IMPERIAL Toothpick Cracked Ice Vintage switchblade knife JM90PBC NOS
Vintage Imperial toothpick style cracked ice switchblade knife, made in Providence, RI in the 1950s by the Imperial Knife Co and designated the model JM90PBC. This knife was part of a lot of three New Old Stock switchblades that were packed away and forgotten for 60 years. Unfortunately they were stored in an old building with a little moisture so there is some corrosion in spots. The knife measures 4.25 inches closed and 7 5/8 inches open and has brass liners with steel button and safety. The blade is 100% full with the original factory finish intact and is marked Imperial PROV USA on the front and the back is marked with two patent numbers ending in 37 and 82 on the back tang. The scales are hollow metal with cracked ice (faux pearl) celluloid wraps that are in like new condition. The knife works like new with blade tip deep in the well closed, good snap and TIGHT lockup! Would be in mint condition if they would have been stored in a dry place. Safety works. NOS Ex+ condition.
