z IMPERIAL Toothpick Cracked Ice Vintage switchblade knife JM90PBC near mint

Vintage Imperial toothpick style cracked ice switchblade knife, made in Providence, RI in the 1950s by the Imperial Knife Co. It measures 4.25 inches closed and 7 5/8 inches open and has steel liners, button and safety. The blade is nearly full with the original factory finish intact and is marked Imperial PROV USA on the front and the back is marked with THREE patent numbers beginning with 217, 228 and 268, most of these only have two patent numbers on the back tang. The scales are hollow metal with cracked ice (faux pearl) celluloid wraps that are in like new condition. The knife works like new with blade tip deep in the well closed, good snap and TIGHT lockup! Safety works. Near mint condition.
