Imperial Knife Co Toothpick Switchblade front scale never finished factory

Imperial Knife Co Toothpick Switchblade front scale never finished factory piece. This never completed Imperial toothpick scale came from the Imperial factory along with many other pre production pieces likely from the R&D (research & development) department. I'm going to sell a few pieces from this factory find over time starting with this one. This front scale was compression formed, but never had the holes cut out for the button and safety. It comes in a suspension frame for display. This is something for those of us who really love the history of the knives and I guess for those who like to have unusual/uncommon items too. ;^)  There were only a couple of these front scales in the lot and I'll probably keep one, but here's a chance for someone to own a piece of switchblade history.
