Hubertus Solingen 14cm West German Rostfrei Fish Knocker Fisherman's Lever switchblade

Vintage HUBERTUS Fisherman's automatic knife, often called a Fish Knocker because the automatic blade is a fish scaler, lid opener with a heavy cylindrical knob on the end designed to kill the fish by knocking them in the head to avoid suffering. The manual blade is for filleting the fish and is etched HUBERTUS SOLINGEN ROSTFREI GESCHMIEDET W-GERMANY. Lanyard ring to attach a chain or cord to keep the knife attached to your pants, or coat so you don't lose it and keep the knife within reach no matter the situation. The knife measures 14cm (5.5 inches) closed (not counting the knob) and 28.5cm (11.25 inches) open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, lever and knocker. The wood scales (handles) are medium color and in great condition. The knife works great. The knocker swings open when you press the lever and locks tight. Very unique and Cool German lever switchblade fisherman's knife. EX condition.
