Hubertus Liliput 8cm German Lever Wood handled vintage automatic knife w file work

Vintage Hubertus Solingen 8cm German Lever wood handled Liliput automatic knife made in Germany sometime after 1989. These German knives are most commonly referred to by their length closed in cm rounded down) It measures 8.6cm closed and 14.8cm (5 7/8 inches) open and 3 3/8 inches closed with brass liners and German silver (nickel silver) bolsters and lever. The clip style blade is 100% full and is etched HUBERTUS SOLINGEN   ROSTFREI GESCHMIEDET GERMANY, so it was made after 1989. The back spring and blade spine have nice custom file work. The wood scales (handles) are in excellent condition. The knife works great with the blade tip deep and centered in the well closed, good snap and Tight lockup with just a hint of side to side at the tip open. No rattle if shaken with blade open. These were often called the "Liliput" and are the smallest of the standard Hubertus lever knives. Great EDC! EX+ condition.
