Hubertus 18cm Stag Scale Release hard-to-find German automatic knife

Vintage Hubertus Stag Scale Release hard-to-find German automatic knife in excellent condition. The knife measures 10.3cm closed and 17.5cm (6 7/8 inches) open and 4 inches closed with brass liners and German (nickel) silver bolsters. The drop point blade is full with original finish and the tang is stamped Hubertus SOLINGEN on the front and SOLINGEN GERMANY ROSTSFREI on the back, but partially rubbed off by opening/closing. The genuine Stag scales are thick and have lots of character and are in great condition with no cracks or chips and are held on by brass pins. The knife works great with blade tip deep & centered closed, nice snap and tight lockup. No rattle if shaken when open. To release the blade both to open and to close, the front scale is shifted sideways a bit by pushing it with the meaty part of your thumb at the bottom of the front scale and pulling on the back scale with first three fingers of your left hand. Takes a little practice. EX+ condition.
