Schrade Cut Co 3 3/8 inch Sterling double scroll

Schrade Cut Co medium double with Sterling silver deluxe scroll scales with Compliments of the Home Insurance Co, NY embossed on the front scale. Very nice example of an early Schrade double with 1906 and 1907 patent dates on the small blade. Most likely made before 1910. Main blade stamped Schrade Cut Co Walden, NY. Measures 3 3/8 inches closed and a hair over 7 inches open with nickel silver liners. Blades are both nearly full with nice finish and it works great with both blades seating good closed, good snap and tight lockup. The small blade does have bounce back, as most of these old doubles did/do, but locks up tight once locking into open position. Great old knife to add to your collection!
