HIGH CLASS Bullfighter Dragon 19cm Mexican Black Souvenir lever switchblade knife

Vintage HIGH CLASS STAINLESS STEEL Bullfighter Dragon 19cm Mexican souvenir lever switchblade knife made in Japan for the Mexican tourist trade between the late 1950s and into the 1970s in hard to find Black color. These were very popular with tourists and were made in three different sizes with different blade shapes, different colors and some variations on the scenes and are a lot of fun to collect. This knife is the most common size measuring 19cm (7 7/16 inches) open and 4 3/16 inches closed with steel liners and brass bolsters, lever and lanyard ring. The flat grind clip blade is 99% full or better with factory finish and is marked HIGH CLASS below the spine on the face of the blade and tang is stamped STAINLESS STEEL. The scales have the less common Black background with gold dragon on the front and bullfighter/ Matador scene on the back covered in clear acrylic and are in very nice condition with a small haze area in the acrylic by back center pin. The knife works well with the blade tip centered and below liners closed, opens fully and excellent lockup with just a hint of movement at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken when open. EX condition.
