Vintage Hammer Brand toothpick style switchblade made in Providence, RI in the 1950s by the Imperial Knife Co and designated model #JM-90-PBC. This knife measures 4.25 inches closed and 7 5/8 inches open and has steel liners. The scales are hollow metal wrapped in Silver Pearl blue swirl celluloid. The blade is full and shiny with some light spotting. It's marked Hammer Brand USA on the front with a picture of an arm holding a hammer. The back is marked with 2 patent numbers. The knife works well. Blade tip seats deep, opens fully and locks up nicely with just a little movement each way. Nice old American fisherman's switchblade in EX condition.
