Vintage Hammer Brand toothpick style switchblade made in Providence, RI in the 1950s by the Imperial Knife Co. It was designate the model JM-90-PBC and measures 4.25 inches closed and 7 5/8 inches open and has steel liners. The scales are hollow metal wrapped in Silver Pearl & Cream mottled celluloid. The blade is full and shiny with most of the factory finish intact. It's marked Hammer Brand USA on the front with a picture of an arm holding a hammer. The back is marked with 2 patent numbers. The knife works well. Blade tip seats deep, opens fully and locks up nicely. Nice old American fisherman's switchblade in EX+ condition.
