Hammer Brand Imperial Toothpick Cracked Ice w/ finger guards switchblade

Vintage Hammer Brand toothpick made by the Imperial Knife Co of Providence, RI in the 1950s and designated the model #JM101PB. The knife measures 4.25 inches closed and 7.25 inches open with brass liners and steel button & safety. The clip blade is 94% full or better and over 1/4" short with patina and light scratches and the tang is stamped Imperial PROV USA on the front and P 2170537 over 2281782 on the back. This is the less common version with finger guards. The scales are hollow steel wrapped in Imitation pearl (cracked ice) celluloid and are in very good condition and very attractive. The knife works well with blade tip even with the liners closed, opens fully and locks open with a little movement each way. Does rattle if shaken when open. Safety works VG- condition.
