Hammer Brand Imperial Toothpick Cracked Ice w/ finger guards switchblade

Vintage Hammer Brand toothpick made by the Imperial Knife Co of Providence,RI in the 1950s. The knife measures 4.25 inches closed and 7 5/8 inches open with brass liners, steel button and safety. The blade is stamped Hammer Brand USA with picture of an arm holding a hammer on the front and PAT NOS over two patent numbers on the back ending in 37 & 82.  The blade is 99% full with light patina, light spotting, peppering and some light scratches. This is the less common version with finger guards. The scales are hollow steel wrapped in Faux pearl (cracked ice) celluloid and are in very good condition with a few orange spots as you can see in the pics. The knife works well with blade tip sitting deep when closed, opens strong and locks open with a little movement each way, about 1/8". Barely rattles if shaken when open. Safety works. VG condition.
