z Hammer Brand Imperial Toothpick Blue pearl Green 1950s vintage switchblade

Vintage Hammer Brand toothpick style switchblade made in Providence, RI in the 1950s by the Imperial Knife Co and was designated the model # JM-90_PBC. This knife measures 4.25 inches closed and 7 3/8 inches open and has brass liners and button. The scales are hollow metal wrapped in Blue Pearl Green mottled celluloid and are in good condition with slight shrinkage and handling marks. The blade is about 92% full and shiny with some scratches and light pitting. It's marked Hammer Brand USA on the front with a picture of an arm holding a hammer. The back is marked with 2 patent numbers ending in 37 & 82. The knife works well. Blade tip seats just above liners closed (slight peek), opens fully and average lockup with a little movement each way at the tip. Early Hammer brand toothpick. Safety works. G+ condition.
