Hammer Brand Imperial #JM90PB Toothpick cracked ice vintage automatic knife

Hammer Brand cracked ice toothpick made by the Imperial Knife Co of Providence, RI in the 1950s, pattern number JM90PB. The knife measures 4.25 inches closed and 7 9/16 inches open and is stamped Hammer Brand USA with picture of an arm holding a hammer on the front and PAT NOS over 2170537 & 2281782 on the reverse. The scales are hollow steel wrapped in cracked ice (fake pearl) celluloid and are in very good condition. The blade is 100% full and shiny with original finish with some light peppering along the spine on the back. The knife works well with blade tip deep closed, opens strong and very good lockup with about 1/16" movement at the tip. Rattles if shaken when open. Safety works. VG+ condition.
