GUSSTAHL SOLINGEN 19cm German Pruning knife Salesman's sample from 2020 Mexico find. This is one of 20 "non switchblade) knives from the 2020 Mexico find. It measures 18.8cm (7 7/16 inches) open with Hawkbill (pruning) blade and the tang is stamped GUSSTAHL SOLINGEN. It has the model number written on the blade in red grease pencil 10670, most likely the number used by the manufacturer. The wood handles are in excellent condition with patina. Brass circlets around the main pin are dark with age. Although this knife was never sold retail, or used, it does show age with some patina and a little light rust. Neat little piece of cutlery history from a find that is sure to become famous in the knife collecting world!
