G DAVID LAGUIOLE EXTRA 20cm French RARE RED automatic knife Gimel Bargeon Arbalete

VIntage Rare RED French G DAVID LAGUIOLE EXTRA switchblade knife most likely made in the 1960s or 70s in France. The knife measures 19.1cm (7.9/16 inches) open and 4.25 inches closed with coined brass liners and brass bolsters, safety and pins with steel button. The long clip blade is 92% full  or better and retains some of the original factory finish with lots of light scratches from sharpening/use. It is marked LAGUIOLE EXTRA with a symbol that looks similar to a bow & arrow. The rare RED synthetic scales are in really nice condition but have a some shrinkage as most of these tend to have and the front scale has raised letters that read G DAVID. The knife works well with blade tip below the liners closed, strong snap and good lockup open with up and down movement that springs back when you let go. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. Press button to open and press button to close. Kick spring has been professionally replaced. (BoBc) Safety works.VG+ condition.
