FROSOLONE 27cm Italian 1940s Picklock Wood Brass Vintage automatic knife

Vintage Large FROSOLONE 27cm Italian Picklock Wood Brass automatic knife made in Frosolone Italy in the 1930s or 40s. It measures 26.5cm (10 3/8 inches) open and 5 3/4 inches closed with steel liners and brass bolsters, button & safety cap. The aged bayonet style blade is 97% full or better with light patina and a few light scratches and is stamped FROSOLONE below the spine on the front. The back spring and blade base are 5mm thick! The scales (handles) are Thick dark horn held on with steel pins, with one white splotch on the rear scale at the bottom and there is a crack through the pin in that area, but stabilized. The knife works well with blade tip below the liners closed, strong snap and tight lockup open. Safety works. EX- condition.
