Flylock Small Gold Double automatic knife w/ Gold Elgin Pocket Watch & Chain Vintage 1930s

Antique Flylock Small Gold Double automatic knife w/ Gold Elgin Pocket Watch & Chain most likely from the 1930s. We got these items together from an estate and don't know anything about the pocket watch, but figured we should try to keep them together. The knife was made in the 1920s by the Flylock Knife Co a division of Challenge Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT and is the smaller 2 7/8" closed size model #6505. Can't find a gold mark so sold as "gold colored" knife. The knife measures 5 5/8 inches with both blades open. The larger blade is short and the profile has been changed a bit at some point, likely to accommodate a broken tip and is stamped FLYLOCK REG US PAT on the front of the tang and FLYLOCK KNIFE CO B'PORT CT on the reverse. The small pen blade is mostly full and has the same marking on the front, but the reverse is US PAT 3-5-18. Both blades have dark patina and spotting. The gold colored metal handles (scales) are in very nice condition. The knife works well with both blades seating well closed, open fully and lock open nicely. The knife is in G+ condition. 

The watch says ELGIN with Roman numerals for the numbers and has a small Seconds hand. The case appears to be real gold, but again can't find a gold stamp, so selling as "gold colored". Inside the back cover it says "Wadsworth Referee" Warranted 20 years 2022372 and the number stamped on the watch works is: 11812362 and ELGIN NAT'L WATCH CO. The clock runs if you wind it, but can't seem to set the hands so likely needs repair. I don't think the crystal is glass, or original. It is what it is and no guarantees beyond the description. It is what it is... a very cool old switchblade fob on a neat old pocket watch chain with the watch that doesn't work properly, but is pretty darn cool. This set is sold As Is.
