Antique Flylock Small Double 14K White Gold automatic knife with shackle was made by the Flylock Knife Co a division of Challenge Cut Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1918 and 1929. The knife measures 2 7/8 inches closed and 5 11/16" open with nickel silver liners, buttons and shackle. Small blade is nearly full and the large blade is about 90% with peppering and patina. Both blades are stamped Flylock REG US PAT on the front tangs. The backside of the tang on the large blade is stamped FLYLOCK KNIFE CO B'PORT CT and the small blade backside is stamped US PAT 3-5-18. The 14K white gold plated scales are in wonderful condition with barely any wear and have an oval signet on the front. The knife works well with large blade tip above the liners when closed, both pop out, but don't always open fully and both have average lockup open with just a little movement. G+ condition.
