Flylock Letter Opener Red Antique switchblade office tool knife

Antique Flylock Letter Opener Red switchblade office tool knife from the 1920s made by the Flylock Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT and was designated the model # 1122LO. It measures 10.75 inches with the blade open and just over 8.75 inches when it's closed with brass liners and nickel silver button. The blade is mostly full 98% or better and has been lightly cleaned so it's shiny with some light scratches. Blade is stamped Flylock REG US PAT OFF on the front and FLYLOCK KNIFE CO B'PORT CONN on the rear tang. The red synthetic scales are in excellent condition, but looks like the front scale has been professionally replaced. Works well with blade tip below liners closed, good snap and good lockup with just a bit of movement at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken when open. These old letter opener switchblades are fun to collect and display well. Good working example of a 100 year old switchblade letter opener knife. EX- condition.
