Flylock Double "Gargoyle Marine Oils" switchblade

This is a Flylock Knife Co double measuring 3 3/8 inches closed and 7 inches open. It was made in Bridgeport, CT in the 1920s and has advertising for Gargoyle Marine Oils on the scales. The blade was also etched, but you can only read Oil Company over New York. Can't make out the Gargoyle anymore. The blades are good with a little loss from sharpening, patina, light pitting and some scratches. Good for a nearly 100 year old switchblade that has seen use over the years. Pretty amazing that any of the original blade etch is still visible. Good example. The scales are in good condition with one indented area above the front button. Nickle silver tip bolsters. Works well, no blade peek.
