Antique Flylock Letter Opener Black sparkle waterfall celluloid switchblade office tool/knife from the 1920s made by the Flylock Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT and was designated the model # 1122LO. It measures 10.75 inches with the blade open and just over 8.75 inches when it's closed with brass liners and nickel silver button. The blade is mostly full 99% or better with light patina, spotting and some light scratches. Blade is stamped Flylock REG US PAT OFF on the front and FLYLOCK KNIFE CO B'PORT CONN on the rear tang. The black sparkle waterfall celluloid synthetic scales are in excellent condition with advertising on the back scale that reads: BRUCE H SEABRIGHT EXCHANGE 452-1453 in gold letters. Works well with blade tip well below liners closed, good snap and Tight lockup. Does not rattle if shaken when open except for button. These old letter opener switchblades are fun to collect and display well. Good working example of a 100 year old switchblade letter opener knife. EX condition.
