FLYLOCK #12000 Scout Clip blade Antique Automatic knife made in USA

Antique Flylock Scout 4 1/8" Black wormgroove handled switchblade knife made by the Flylock Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1918 and 1929 designated model number 12000. It measures 4 1/8" closed and 7 1/8 inches open with steel liners & nickel silver bolsters & button. The clip blade is 96% full or better and shiny with some light scratches and lots of spotting. Tang is stamped Flylock REG US PAT OFF US PAt 3-5-18 and the reverse stamped THE FLYLOCK KNIFE CO B'PORT CONN. The black wormgroove synthetic scales are in very good condition with no cracks or chips and factory drilled for lanyard. The knife works great with blade tip deep when closed, good snap and good lockup with less than 1/8" up and down and 1/8 inch side to side at the tip when open. Average for these in used condition. Does rattle if shaken when open as most of these do. VG+ condition.
