Exceptional RPK 20cm Russian Prison Knife Curved Blade Swing Guard Lever switchblade knife. This knife seems to be extra nice quality and attention to detail compared to most that I've seen. Very attractive and works great! Most likely made in USSR prison 1960s or 1970s, to be sold, traded, given as gifts/bribes by prison officials. Definitely hand made in USSR. It measures 20cm (8 inches) open with non-magnetic bolsters & liners and gold plated guards and lever. (gold color) The curved hollow ground blade is highly polished with a gut hook at the top of the slope. Not sure what the scales are made of, but look like Copper pockets in some sort of synthetic material. Cool looking. The knife is opened by flipping down the lever and pressing it and is closed by pressing on a release in the backspring. The knife works great and locks up TIGHT! EX+ condition.
