ERN (crown & scimitar) Rostfrei 21cm Italian Swivel bolster Green pearlex automatic knife

Crown Scimitar ERN 21cm Italian swivel bolster Green Pearlex vintage automatic knife made in Italy in the 1980s or 90s for export to Germany to be sold through C Friedr Ern & Co, SOLINGEN. The knife measures 20.8cm (8 3/16 inches) open and 4 7/8 inches closed with brass liners with 1 steel bolster (top front) & safety cap and 3 nickel silver bolsters and button. The flat grind blade is 98% full, or better with original finish with light scratches and the ricasso is stamped with outlines of a Crown over a Scimitar over ERN which is a marking used by C Friedr ERN & Co of SOLINGEN, Germany which also explains the slightly shorter blade made that way to comply with German knife laws. The Green Pearlex scales are very attractive and in excellent condition with minor handling marks. The knife works well with blade tip just below the liners closed, Strong snap and excellent lockup with less than 1/16" movement at the tip. No rattle if shaken with blade open. VG+ condition.
