ERN (crown & scimitar) Rostfrei 21cm Italian Swivel bolster blue acrylic automatic knife

Crown Scimitar (ERN) 21cm Italian swivel bolster Blue Pearlex acrylic vintage automatic knife made in Italy in the 1980s or 90s for export to Germany to be sold through C Friedr Ern & Co, SOLINGEN. The knife measures 20.8cm (8 3/16 inches) open and 4 7/8 inches closed with brass liners with steel bolsters & safety cap with nickel silver button. The flat grind blade is 99% full, or better with original finish with light scratches and the ricasso is stamped with outlines of a Crown over a Scimitar and Rostfrei (diagonally) on the revers. The shorter blade was made that way to comply with German knife laws. The Blue Pearlex scales are very attractive and in excellent condition with minor handling marks. The knife works well with blade tip deep & centered closed, Strong snap and excellent lockup with just a hint of movement at the tip. No rattle if shaken with blade open. EX- condition.
