EIKHORN ROSTFREI 1959 23cm German Trap door Gravity knife military

Vintage 23cm German Military OTF Gravity knife. I believe these were made in the late 1950s or 1960s for the German military by Eickhorn company in Solingen Germany. This one measures just 23.2cm (9 1/8 inches) open with a steel frame and nickel silver bolsters, lanyard ring, trapdoor and release lever. The blade appears to be 99% full or better with original finish and lightly stamped on the face a picture of a squirrel over EIKHORN ROSTFREI 1959. The underside of the trapdoor is stamped X/59. The black scales are in good condition with some wear and lots of light scuffs/handling marks. German eagle symbol on the rear scale worn down from handling. Knife works perfectly. Blade drops out if pointed down and release pressed and falls back into the knife if pointed up when button pressed. Good condition overall.
