EIG CUTLERY ITALY Box stamp 21cm Italian 1950s Picklock Bayonet Vintage automatic knife

This is a 1950s Italian picklock marked EIG CUTLERY ITALY inside a box (rectangle) often referred to as a "box stamp". The knife measures just 20.5cm (8 1/16 inches) open and 4 3/8 inches closed with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters button and safety cap. The bayonet grind blade that is 99% full or better with light patina & light scratches and the ricasso is stamped EIG CUTLERY ITALY inside a box. The genuine horn scales are mostly black with just a bit of streaking on the front and are in good condition. The knife works great with blade tip deep and centered closed, strong snap and very good lockup with about 1/32" movement at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety works, but you have to hold it in position, or moves when you press the button. EX- condition.
