EIG Cutlery Italy 33cm Italian Picklock Stiletto 1950s vintage switchblade knife

Vintage EIG CUTLERY ITALY 33cm Italian picklock automatic knife made in Italy in the 1950s measures 33.5cm (13 3/16") open and 7 1/8 inches closed with D stamped brass liners, nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. This knife is extra heavy construction with 5mm wide backspring. The bayonet style blade is 98% full or better with heavy patina and some light scratches, spotting and light pitting and the ricasso is stamped EIG CUTLERY ITALY. The scales (handles) are quad colored horn in great condition and mostly black with streaks of cream, brown and light green. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep and centered, good snap and excellent lockup open with just a hint movement at the tip. Does NOT rattle if shaken with blade open. The name picklock refers to how the knife is closed. You pick (lift) the locking tab with your thumbnail to release the blade to be closed. Short throw safety works. EX condition.
