EIG 28cm Italian Picklock Vintage 1950s Stiletto automatic knife. The name picklock refers to how the knife is closed. You pick (lift) the locking tab with your thumbnail to release the blade to be closed. It measures 27.5cm (11 inches) open with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The bayonet style blade is nearly full and has light patina from age and some light spotting. Brazilian buffalo horn scales are very attractive with colors ranging from black to green to yellow and cream and are in good condition with a couple of hairline cracks on the back scale. The blade tip is below liners closed, good snap and good lockup open with just a little movement each way at the tip. The blade is not properly in line with the frame of the knife, leans right, past full open. Most likely made this way and doesn't take much away from this gorgeous old Italian picklock! Safety works. VG+ condition.
