EICKHORN ROSTFREI 1959 23cm German Trap door Gravity knife military

Vintage 23cm German Military OTF Gravity knife made in the late 1950s and early 1960s for the German military by Eickhorn company in Solingen Germany. This one measures just 23.3cm (9 1/8 inches) open and 5 3/8 inches and with a steel frame and lanyard ring with nickel silver bolsters, trapdoor and release lever. The blade is 99% full or better with original finish and strongly stamped on the face a picture of a squirrel over EICKHORN ROSTFREI 1956 GES. GESC H. The black synthetic scales are in good condition with some wear and lots of light scuffs/handling marks. The blade drops out if pointed down and release button is pressed and falls back into the knife if pointed up when button is pressed. VG condition overall.
