Edwin Jay MADE IN ITALY 21cm Italian Picklock Vintage 1940s automatic knife

Vintage Edwin Jay MADE IN ITALY 21cm Italian Picklock automatic knife made in the late 1940s measures 20.6cm (8 1/8 inches) open and 4 3/8 inches closed. The knife has brass bolsters, but are not D stamped which means it was likely made just before 1950, with nickel silver bolsters, button & safety cap. The bayonet style blade is 98% full, or better with lots of light scratches and a little light pitting on the ricasso (tang). The buffalo horn scales are mostly black & green and in good condition with one tiny bug bite and a repaired crack through top pin back scale as you can see in the pics. The knife works well with blade tip even with the liners closed, good snap and very good lockup with just a hint of movement at the tip open. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. VG+ condition.
