Edgemaster USA Vintage MyTmite Red keychain switchblade knife made 1940s

Vintage Edgemaster keychain automatic knife made in the late 40s or early 1950s by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI and was marketed with the trademark "MyTmite". They were usually sold from display cards that held 12 knives and sat on store checkout counters. The knife measures 2.5 inches closed and 4.25 inches open with brass liners and steel button, safety and shackle. The clip blade is 98% full or better with lots of light scratches and is marked Edgemaster USA PAT PEND. The light red synthetic scales are in good condition with just a bit of shrinkage and handling marks. The knife works great with the blade tip seating deep & centered closed, strong snap and tight lockup. Safety works. VG condition.
