Edgemaster USA Cigar Jack Purple Swirl 1940s vintage automatic knife

Vintage Edgemaster model 108 cigar switchblade made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI between 1947 and 1954. It measures 3 3/8 inches closed and 5 13/16 inches open with brass liners, steel button & safety. The clip blade is 97% full or better and shiny with some light scratches and is stamped Edgemaster USA on the tang. The Purple & white swirl synthetic scales are in good condition with just a little shrinkage and no cracks. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep and centered when closed, opens fully with good lockup when open with about 3/16" movement at the tip. Safety works. VG+ condition.
