Edgemaster Paratrooper style Scout vintage 1940s Black all metal automatic knife

Vintage Edgemaster Paratrooper style 4 1/8" Black painted all metal automatic knife made in USA by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 1940s or early 50s. It measures 4 1/8" closed and 6 7/8 inches open with steel liners, handles, button, safety and lanyard ring. The blade is nearly full at about 99% or better with most of the original finish intact with some spotting and scratches from light use, overall nice blade. The hollow metal scales are stamped out of flat steel to resemble stag, or bone and are painted black. The knife functions well, with blade tip deep and centered in the well closed, good snap and good lockup with about 1/16" movement each way at the tip. Does rattle if shaken when open. Safety does work. VG+ condition.
