Edgemaster Paratrooper style 4 1/8" all metal automatic knife made in USA

Edgemaster Paratrooper style 4 1/8" all metal automatic knife made in USA. This knife was made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 1940s/ early 50s. It measures 4 1/8" closed and 6 7/8 inches open with steel liners, handles, button, safety and lanyard ring. The blade is nearly full at about 97% with original finish that can be seen under light patina, spotting, light pitting and some light scratches. The hollow metal scales are stamped to resemble stag, or bone and were originally painted black, but the paint is nearly all gone. There are just a couple of places that still have some black paint on these handles, most of it has worn off. Scales are in good condition and held on by brass pins. The knife functions well, with blade tip deep in the well closed, good snap and good lockup with about 3/16" up and down at the tip when open. Does rattle if shaken when open. Safety does not work. VG condition.
