Edgemaster Paratrooper style 4 1/8" all metal automatic knife made in USA

Edgemaster Paratrooper style 4 1/8" all metal automatic knife made in USA. This knife was made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 1940s/ early 50s. It measures 4 1/8" closed and 7 inches open with steel liners, handles, button, safety and lanyard ring. The blade is nearly full (98%) and shiny with some light scratches. The hollow metal scales are stamped to resemble stag, or bone and were originally painted black. There are just a couple of places that still have some black paint on these handles, most of it has worn off. Scales are in good condition and held on by brass pins. The knife functions well, with blade tip below liners, good snap and good lockup with about 1/16" up and down at the tip when open. Safety works. VG condition.
