Edgemaster Cigar Jack 1940s vintage switchblade knife

This is an Edgemaster model 108 cigar switchblade made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI between 1947 and 1954. It measures 3 3/8 inches closed and 5 7/8 inches open with brass liners. The knife is in average condition with some blade loss from sharpening, very light pitting and some scratches. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep when closed, good snap and locks open with some extra movement. Blade rattles if knife is shaken when open, as many of these do, but it does lock. The reddish brown synthetic scales are in fair condition with a chipped area near the button, some shrinkage, but no cracks. Average well used condition.
