Edgemaster Fishtail Green 1950s American switchblade knife

Edgemaster fishtail with green synthetic scales made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 40s, or early 1950s. This knife was designated the model #301 and measures 4 inches closed and 7 1/8" open with brass liners. The saber grind blade is nearly full with most of the original finish and some light scratches and is stamped Edgemaster USA. The green scales are in very good condition with some shrinkage and some light handling marks. The knife functions good with blade tip seating deep, opens fully with firm press of the button and good lockup with about 1/16" up and down and a bit of side to side. The knife does rattle if shaken when open as most of these old 50s American switchblades do. The safety works. EX- condition.
