Edgemaster Fishtail Burgundy swirl 1950s vintage switchblade knife

Vintage Edgemaster fishtail with burgundy swirl synthetic scales made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 40s, or early 1950s. This knife was designated the model #301 and measures 4 inches closed and 7 inches open with brass liners, steel button & safety. The blade is nearly full (98% or better) and shiny with some scattered light pitting and is stamped Edgemaster USA. The Burgundy swirl synthetic scales are in very good condition with some shrinkage. The knife functions well with blade tip deep and centered in the well, opens fully and fair lockup with about 1/8" up and down at the tip. The knife does rattle if shaken when open as most of these old 50s American switchblades do. The safety works. EX- condition.
