Edgemaster Fishtail Blue Sparkle vintage switchblade knife model 301

Edgemaster fishtail with Blue Sparkle synthetic scales made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 40s, or early 1950s. This knife was designated the model #301 and measures 4 inches closed and 7inches open with brass liners and steel button and safety. The saber grind clip blade is mostly full with Heavy patina over spotting and light pitting and is stamped Edgemaster USA on the tang. The Blue Sparkle synthetic scales are in great condition with minimal shrinkage. The knife functions good with blade tip seating deep and centered, good snap and locks open with about 3/16" movement both ways at the tip. Locks, but very loose and rattles if shaken with blade open. Safety works. Good condition.
