Edgemaster Fishtail 1950s White synthetic handles vintage switchblade

Vintage Edgemaster fishtail with White synthetic scales (handles) made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 40s, or early 1950s. This knife was designated the model #301 and measures 4 inches closed and 7 inches open with brass liners, steel button & safety. The blade is nearly full and shiny with some light spotting and is stamped Edgemaster USA. The white synthetic scales are in good condition with some shrinkage and the letters "IN" notched into the front scale at the bottom (back). The knife functions good with blade tip seating deep, good snap and locks open with about 1/8" movement each way at the tip. The knife does rattle if shaken when open. The safety works. VG+ condition.
