Vintage Edgemaster fatjack Green white swirl switchblade made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 1940s, or early 50s and was designated the model #102. The knife measures 4 1/8 inches closed and just 6 7/8 inches open with brass liners, steel button and lanyard ring and nickel silver safety. The clip blade is about 97% full and shiny with a lot of light scratches and is marked Edgemaster in script over USA. The synthetic scales are light green with white swirls and are in very good condition with a hairline crack under the safety that can be seen in the pics and a tiny bit of shrinkage. The knife works well with the blade tip deep and centered closed, strong snap and excellent lockup with 1/16" up and down at the tip. Barely rattles if shaken with blade open. Nice working example of a vintage American fatjack switchblade. Safety works. VG+ condition.
