Vintage Edgemaster fatjack switchblade knife. This knife was made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 1940s, or early 50s and was designated the model #102. The knife measures 4 1/8 inches closed and just under 7 inches open with brass liners. The blade is mostly full with patina, light scratches and spotting from age and is marked Edgemaster in script over USA. The synthetic scales are in fair condition with some light scuffs and a little shrinkage and a couple of drops of something that dried onto the scales. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep, good snap and good lockup with about 1/8" up and down at the tip. Safety works.
