This is an Edgemaster model 108 cigar switchblade made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI between 1947 and 1954. It measures 3 3/8 inches closed and 5 7/8 inches open with brass liners. The blade is mostly full with patina, some light scratches and a bit of peppering. The scales are kinda Wild Black/Blue/White swirl and are in good condition with slight shrinkage. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep when closed, good snap and locks open with some extra movement. Approximately 3/8 inch up and down at the tip and a little side to side. Blade rattles if knife is shaken when open, as many of these do, but it does lock. Safety works. VG- condition.
