Edgemaster #108 Cigar Jack 1950s Vintage Purple swirl switchblade knife

Vintage Edgemaster model 108 purple cigar switchblade made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI between 1947 and 1954. It measures 3 3/8 inches closed and 5 7/8 inches open with brass liners, steel button & nickel silver safety & pins. The beautiful clip blade is 100% full with original factory finish and is stamped Edgemaster USA on the tang. The Purple swirl synthetic scales are in excellent condition. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep and centered closed, opens fully but does not lock open and I'm pretty sure that it never did when new. You'd never know it unless you try to close the knife without pushing the button. Safety works. EX+ condition.
