Vintage Edgemaster model 108 green & purple cigar switchblade made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI between 1947 and 1954. It measures 3 3/8 inches closed and 5 7/8 inches open with brass liners, steel button & nickel silver safety & brass pins. The clip blade is 99% full with original factory finish with some light scratches and is stamped Edgemaster USA on the tang. The Green & Purple swirl synthetic scales are in excellent condition. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep and centered closed, opens fully and seems to have tight lockup, but if you put a little pressure on the blade it will close without pushing the button. I'm pretty sure that it never did lock open even when it was new. You'd never know it unless you try to close the knife without pushing the button. Safety works. EX+ condition.
